A Wee Bit About Me

This is the part of a writer’s website where they usually tell you they grew up wanting to be a writer. Alas, I remember at different times wanting to be a marine biologist and an optometrist. However, I did once write an epic story in a big orange notebook about a family of cockroaches.

These days, I write well-researched and engaging content that helps my clients build trust and authority with their prospects. Magazine articles are also frequent projects.

Research and writing are my tea and cookies. (Although, really, you can keep the cookies and just give me two cups of tea.)

Beautiful British Columbia, Canada is where I now call home. Before that, I lived in three different states in the US. And, going waaaaaay back, I’m originally from Britain. (Which kind of explains the tea thing.)

I have years of teaching, writing, and research under my belt — including a PhD. Just as important, I love Jane Austen, running (very slowly), and cats. I hate cooking, but washing dishes is tolerable.
